One of the most popular venues in the Fairhope area, Oak Hollow Farm has been a longtime favorite for weddings and corporate events. I have photographed 6+ events there.
A large porch wrapped barn is the center of the property surrounded by oak trees and lush green fields. Filled with rustic charm, it features more than 6,000 square feet of entertainment space and can accommodate up to 350 guests. For smaller gatherings, there is a 1200 square-foot lot age that can accommodate up to 60 guests with all the same charm as the rest of the property. This lodge is perfect for micro weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other intimate gatherings. There are also multiple bunkrooms for getting ready spaces and places for the wedding party to stay overnight.
I can honestly say that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every time I’ve gotten to create pictures at Oak Hollow. The tunnel of oaks is an obvious favorite, but what I like most is its versatility. The popular tunnel doesn’t always lend itself to great images depending on the weather, but there are plenty other beautiful vignettes to offer a stunning backdrop. In addition to the venue itself, the owners and staff are always on point. Having a knowledgeable and kind team makes all the difference in the planning and execution of your wedding day. I’ve had nothing but an amazing time at Oak Hollow.
Oak Hollow Farm is so wonderful option if you're looking to host a single event or an entire wedding weekend. With full use of the 300-acre farm both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and receptions can be custom designed to fit your needs and complement your unique wedding style. I have personally photographed weddings that took place outdoors underneath the popular tree arches, out by the falling tree, and inside due to rain. The indoor ceremony space is an excellent plan B in case of rain. I was thoroughly impressed with how lovely it looked and how easily they swapped it from ceremony space to reception space.
The sweeping open fields surrounded by trees lend themselves to gorgeous landscape images featuring the newlyweds. The light wrapped limbs of the oak arches provide romance and drama in the natural setting. If there is rain, the large porches lined with lush, over-flowing ferns always make a beautiful backdrop.
For couples that book weddings at Oak Hollow, there is not a fee for a portrait sessions. It makes a lovely setting for proposals, bridal portraits, and engagement portraits, all of which have had the pleasure of creating over the years. One Candice Brown Photography couples loved Oak Hollow so much that they flew back to Fairhope from Long Island New York so that he could propose to her in one of her favorite spots.
